Cooper Montgomery, played by Andre Kinney, was Jackson’s best friend. They spent a lot of time together during the first season, although he didn’t return in the second season. Cooper went along with Jackson’s high jinks, although was usually a little concerned about many of them at first. Cooper and Jackson temporarily fell out in an episode where Jackson agreed to go out with his little sister, Olivia. The friendship was quickly rectified when Cooper realized Olivia was at fault, not Jackson.

Cooper was Kinney’s most recognized role, despite having played parts in Beverly Hills: 90210 and NYPD Blue prior to this. He played Orlando Morales in the T.V. series, Bones in 2011, although only present for one episode.
He also starred in a small television series called Embeds, in 2017, playing a character named T.J. He appeared in all six episodes of the series which follows five college graduates working as reporters during the presidential campaign.
