Jason Earles played the iconic big brother of Miley, Jackson Stewart. He often showed that he felt forgotten about, where his sister always had everyone’s full attention. He resented Miley for being so successful and selling out concerts, while he was struggling at Rico’s Surf Shop.
However, he showed multiple times quite how much he really cared about his little sister. Jackson and Miley had a typical sibling love-hate relationship, bickering and falling out at times, but showing deep compassion for one another at others.

Most of Jason Earles’ appearances came before Hannah Montana, seeing as he was already 29 years old when he started playing 16-year-old Jackson. Before the show, Earles made appearances in Malcolm in the Middle, National Treasure, and Phil of the Future.
After Hannah Montana, he has voiced Kevin in an episode of Fish Hooks, played the main role of Rudy Gillespie in Kickin’ It, and is currently on-screen as Flynt Rogers in the popular web sitcom, Hotel Du Loone.
