Throughout the series, Cody Linley played Jake Ryan, the boy who moved to Miley’s school and became her most significant love interest. Jake was a child star and developed into one of Miley’s good friends when he noticed that she didn’t treat him differently because of his former fame.
The pair ended up together after some time but ended several times. The last time was when Jake cheated on Miley, and she ended their relationship for good.

Since his last appearance in Hannah Montana, Linley’s career ultimately hasn’t been brilliant. He took part in the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars, a popular reality dancing competition.
Partnered with Julianne Hough, he made it to the semi-finals but concluded his time on the show in fourth place. He played Eli Channing in Forget Me Not in 2009, and his only other memorable appearance seems to have been Matthew Shepard in the fourth and fifth of the Sharknado films.
