Back in 1984, Jenny was at the Newark, New Jersey airport in 1984 trying to board a plane when she got stopped in her tracks. Jenny was taken to the security checkpoint in handcuffs and then later to jail. She was incarcerated for carrying a gun with illegal bullets. Jenny was armed because she was holding a lot of cash, which she acquired from being paid for two weeks worth of stand up comedy and she was afraid someone would steal it. Jenny posted her own bail but was on probation for that whole year.
