There was a lot of bad press out there and everyone was still in shock about the tragedy that occurred to Scott’s family. It became one of the most famous cases in history which did not shed in the best light on the show. However, the show pressed on for many more years. This incident happened in 1995 and the show ran until 2003 despite the events that occurred.
