[post_page_title]A rough childhood[/post_page_title]
Jenny’s parents were John Stroski and Zosia, their respective professions were an army corporal and a dressmaker. They were refugees from World War Two from Poland who at the time lived in Jerusalem, Israel. The family moved to Canada to have a better life. But they seemed to only find drama and heartaches. John was unfaithful to his wife with a 19-year-old store clerk and Zosia had her own fling 14 years prior. Jenny subsequently witnessed her parents’ messy divorce at the age of 11.
