Soon after Holly had given birth, the midwives arrived to check that everything was as it should be. Both mother and child were escorted to the hospital so the doctors could give them the all-clear before starting their new life together. The couple slept pretty heavily that night, especially after all the excitement they’d had in the early hours of the morning. There was nothing for them to worry about now at least. The baby was here, and healthy, which was all the new parents could ask for.
