It’s no secret that the members of the Dursley family are not very nice people, but Petunia has a bit more explaining to do, as she came from a family of high esteem. Indeed, not only is Petunia Dursley the wife of Vernon Dursley, but she is also Harry’s aunt – which means she is Lily Potter’s sister.
Unlike Lily, Petunia is not kind or selfless. Instead, Petunia is selfish and cruel. However, there has to be some respect for the fact that she (unwillingly) looked after Harry after his parents were slain. We’ll give her that much.
