In an incredible twist of fate, Helen McCrory was not meant to play Narcissa Malfoy. Instead, she was originally cast as Bellatrix Lestrange, before she fell pregnant and her role was taken by Helena Bonham Carter.
After she had her baby, the Harry Potter casting directors wanted her back in the franchise and cast her as Narcissa. Since then, she has continued to act in TV shows and movies, such as The Woman in Black: Angel of Death and Skyfall. She is currently starring in the popular period drama, Peaky Blinders.
