Although Shirley Henderson has now made a name for herself in the world of acting, she didn’t always want to be an actress. In fact, she initially wanted to be a musician. However, before too long the Scot was cast in the hugely popular rom-com, Bridget Jones’ Diary – where she also played a woman who cried a lot.
Since her time in the magical franchise, Henderson has landed roles in the likes of Wild Child, Treasure Island, Bridget Jones’ Baby and T2 Trainspotting. She has also taken her talents to the stage.
