Like Moaning Myrtle, the Grey Lady is a ghost who roams the walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, we discover that The Grey Lady is actually Helena Ravenclaw.
Yep, she is the daughter of the Hogwarts founder, Rowena Ravenclaw! However, the Grey Lady was not as wise or strong-willed as her mother, and she stole her mother’s priceless diadem and ran away from home. Although this is explained in the final book and movie, Nina Young’s Grey Lady only appeared in The Sorcerer’s Stone.
