However, learning to fly is no easy feat, and you need a specially trained professional to teach you the ropes – or the broomsticks.
Rolanda Hooch, or Madam Hooch, is definitely the woman for the job. Appearing in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Madam Hooch attends Harry, Ron and Hermione’s first flying lesson, and referees Harry’s first Quidditch match. Ten points to Gryffindor!
