As one-half of the Patil twins, Padma Patil first made an appearance in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, where we watched her be sorted into Gryffindor House (although she is sorted into Ravenclaw House in the book series).
However, that is the last we hear about the witch until Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, when Harry asks Padma and her sister to be his and Ron’s dates to the Yule Ball. In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Padma joins Dumbledore’s Army and eventually fights in the Battle of Hogwarts.
