As a former Hogwarts alumnus, Lily Potter was linked to major characters within the Harry Potter franchise – including Severus Snape, James Potter, and of course, Harry himself. Incredibly, Lily Potter sacrificed herself to save her son from the dark magic of Lord Voldemort, and little did she know, this sacrifice would protect Harry’s life for years to come…

Although her hair may be a different color, Geraldine Somerville’s eyes are just like Harry’s – so she will always be remembered for making the ultimate sacrifice, and we raise our wands to remember this incredible witch.
Outside of the Harry Potter franchise, Somerville has managed to maintain a fairly steady acting career. In recent years, she has appeared in the popular crime drama, Cracker, and even starred in the 2017 blockbuster, Goodbye Christopher Robin. Apparently, the actress has also introduced the magic of Harry Potter onto her children. That’s what we like to hear!
