People underestimated the devastation they were about to see as soon as they arrived on the scene. It looked terrible from far away, but now the rescuers were up close, they realized it was one of the worst crashes any of them had ever seen in their lives. The plane was completely destroyed. The seats had been thrown from the plane. Everything was on fire. People were screaming everywhere. To top it off, all they could see where the charred remains of the passengers scattered amongst the grass.
