Since appearing on the scene with her debut album Some Hearts, following acts have named Carrie Underwood as a main influencer. All five members of the R&B girl group, Fifth Harmony, have cited Underwood as a role model. Country singers Kelsea Ballerini, Lauren Alaina, and Lucy Hale have also credited Underwood for inspiring a career in music. Country-rock legend Vince Gill famously said “the possibility of Carrie’s longevity is through the roof.” It’s clear Underwood has left her mark beyond the world of country music.
