Before he became everyone’s favorite Friends star and asked us how we were doinnnnnn’, Matt LeBlanc actually trained as a carpenter. This career choice stemmed from his working-class family and the male role models in his life.
In fact, Matt’s grandfather was a carpenter and his dad was a mechanic, so it made sense to go into the building trade. However, he soon realized that carpentry was not something he wanted to do for the rest of his life (we don’t blame him) and moved to New York to model, before turning his hands to acting.
