Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine Harrison Ford as anything other than an actor – he was made for the job! But it seems that when he was younger, he was making things FOR a job. Yep, Ford was previously a carpenter, and a pretty decent one at that.
He was known as the carpenter for the stars and most notably worked for The Doors, Sergio Mendes, and George Lucas. His carpentry work was actually the reason he got into acting, as Lucas offered him a small role in American Graffiti as a thank-you for making his cabinets.
