Nicole Kidman is another Aussie who has taken the world of Hollywood by storm – but life hasn’t always been easy for this (originally) redheaded beauty. In 1984, the Kidman family suffered a huge blow when Nicole’s mom was diagnosed with cancer.
Before this, Nicole had already started gaining traction as an actress in Australia – but she dropped everything to look after her mom. In fact, she trained as a massage therapist to help her mother deal with the pain, and also earned a few dollars herself in the process.
