Let’s be honest, Jim Carrey is a legend. This actor, comedian, screenwriter, impressionist, and producer has made us literally laugh out loud so many times we’ve lost count. Over the years, he has brought us incredible characters, such as Bruce Almighty, Lloyd Christmas, Count Olaf, Truman Burbank, Fletcher Reede, and the Grinch.
However, before he became a comedy superstar, Jim Carrey was stuck in a sticky situation. After his father went bankrupt, Jim had to work as a janitor to help the family out – and ultimately had to drop out of high school to keep them going. He later made them millions thanks to his incredible talent, though, so that turned out alright.
