If you’re not a fan of tarantulas, you might like the idea of a tarantula hawk, who hunts and kills these spiders. However, it seems these spider wasps are incredibly dangerous and use their sting and venom to their advantage. The main aim of these wasps is to paralyze their prey with their venom, before dragging it back to their nest. Then, the spider’s larvae continues to eat the tarantula while it is still alive. Although these wasps rarely attack anything other than spiders, they do occasionally sting humans.
