Considering jellyfish do not have a brain, heart, or much of a central nervous system – it’s fair to say that some species can really pack a punch. One of the most venomous species under the jellyfish bracket is the box jellyfish. Although it doesn’t look too sinister, scientists have recorded that this jellyfish has actually caused over 5,567 deaths since 1954. If you get stung by one of these, there is little chance of survival. As the toxins spread throughout your body, it will attack your vital organs and send you into a state of shock.
