Unfortunately, it seems as though the drummers are the ones that often get forgotten. Sure, they might be in charge of keeping the beat of the song, but do they get to hype up the crowd at the mic? Do they regularly perform solos in the middle of songs and smash up their instruments?
Do they headbang with the singer? Chances are, no. This person was either a mad drummer or a keen-eyed music fan who thought they would inform the world of a drummer’s true purpose on stage.
