Bea Arthur announced in 1992 that she was leaving the show, which saw an end to an era for the girls. The three other actresses appeared in ‘The Golden Palace’ a spin-off of the original show, but it was canceled after its premiere season. White went on to have guest star on various television programmes over the years earning herself yet more Emmy nominations as she went! White carried on until 2006 when she was offered a role on the soap ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’.
