The end of December 2016 saw one superfan make White’s name appear in the headline once more but for a very different reason! A man from South Carolina set up a ‘Gofundme page’ in order to keep White safe until January 1, 2017, following the numerous celebrity deaths that occurred at the end of last year. Vowing to fly to wherever she was in the world to protect her, the man had a target of $10,000, but donated the money instead towards the ‘Spartanburg little theatre’.
