White amazingly got offered the chance of her own radio show, ‘The Betty White Show’, after years of working hard. In 1949 though she would catch a big break as White was offered the chance to appear as a co-host on ‘Hollywood in Television’ with Al Jarvis. The show ran for 5 and a half hours a day, was shown six days a week, and featured ad-lib comedy from the pair. White would usually sing some songs during her part to help add to the show.
