Jarvis ended up leaving the show, and in 1952 White was given a chance to host the show alone! The show saw White receive her first Emmy nomination but also lead on to bigger and better things for the young star. Bandy Productions was formed between White and two men who went on to create ‘Life With Elizabeth’. Beginning in 1952, the show saw Betty go down in history as one of the only women with full creative control both in front of and behind the camera at the time!
