Finding herself with another Allen, White married the TV personality and host Allen Ludden on June 14, 1963. The couple had previously met on ‘Password’ while Ludden was hosting and White appeared as a celebrity guest for the show. It wouldn’t be easy for Ludden to get a ring on White’s finger though, as he proposed at least twice before she accepted! Hoping one day she would, Ludden wore her engagement ring around his neck to keep it safe before she snapped it up!
