Of course, there will always be critics who try to disprove every aspect of The Long Island Medium – but they can’t deny the fact that the show is hugely popular with fans across the world. In fact, Gregg Goldstein from Variety Magazine has been incredibly positive about the show and its effect on the world. In 2012, he published an article that noted that the “big selling point is the dynamic with her husband and two wisecracking teenagers” which makes it seem as though it is a modern-day reality show, rather than a wholly psychic show.
