It may be surprising to find out that Sofia Vergara is a natural blonde, who dyed her hair brown in order to land roles. Vergara told Self magazine in 2010 that she was too fair previously to land Latin roles, but too Latina looking to land more caucasian roles. As soon as she dyed her hair darker, however, she was associated with being Latin and began to get the roles she wanted. Earlier this year, she decided to go a bit fairer, albeit not as light as she is naturally.
