The sun is hot, the ocean is wet, and Reese Witherspoon is blonde. We mean, some things are just unchanging laws of the universe, right? How could the actress whose breakthrough role was in a movie literally called Legally Blonde be anything else? Well… She was called the “new Meg Ryan” in Legally Blonde’s wake, but unlike the ’90s rom-com queen, Reese isn’t naturally blonde. She’s been one almost continuously since at least 2004, but her real hair color’s actually dark brown, as can be seen in her 2005 Oscar-winning role of June Carter-Cash in Walk the Line.
