As the orthodontist took X-rays of her jaw, she came to a new discovery that no other dentist had considered. Instead of growing as her body grew, Ellie’s jaw had stopped growing when she was just 8 years old. While her jaw was much smaller than it should have been, her teeth had continued to grow – making them look large, crowded and crooked.
