Throughout her childhood, Ellie had known that she was different. She had always described herself as the “ugly duckling” around her family and friends, and was happy to know that there was hope in changing her appearance once and for all. After the orthodontist discovered the new diagnosis, Ellie was passed onto a maxillofacial surgeon in her local hospital. During the course of a long and torturous six years, Ellie would go on an incredible transformation that would make her unrecognizable to those around her. However, it wouldn’t be easy.
