In season 2, first aired back in 2003, fans may remember the Cadillac Escalade that the team had to turn into the ultimate tailgating party vehicle. However, one of the team members let everyone in on a little secret about the editing of the show. Larry Webster, a writer for Car and Driver magazine, published an article about his time on the show. Some may remember Webster shattering an expensive window by sandblasting it, but not all was as it seemed. Webster didn’t want to sandblast the window, knowing it would likely shatter, but allegedly the directors told him he had to, in order to create more drama.
