With antibiotics and painkillers in hand, Kelly was able to take Rocco home and help him on his road to recovery.
While she was angry at herself that no one had picked up on the wound earlier, she was happy that she was now able to take proper care of the dog that she had adopted and ensure that he recovered fully from the ordeal. She was happy with how things were going, but she couldn’t help feeling that something wasn’t quite right. She wanted to get to the bottom of what happened to Rocco.
