As Kelly took a closer look at the dog she had adopted, she began to see him in a different light. With her own inspection and those of the vets, she was able to come to the conclusion that Rocco had been severely neglected by his previous owner.
He had been left vulnerable and alone and may have even been abused. On a trip back to the vets, she was also told that Rocco had been forced to wear his harness for so long it had fused to his skin. Kelly was overwhelmed, and she started to feel extremely angry.
