Newly adopted dog smells so bad that police have to get involved

[post_page_title]A standout in training[/post_page_title]

Dallas stood out in the program, and handlers quickly noted his potential for becoming a police K-9 due to his strong ball drive and desire to receive praise – the “perfect combination to be a police dog.”

Costs for his training – which can reach $10,000 – were covered by the rescue group and off to officer school Dallas went. He’s now training to sniff out illicit substances, and should he finish the program, he’ll become one of the first pitbulls ever to be rescued from a fighting ring to become a K-9.
