People will really do anything for a bet, especially if there’s money involved. While we don’t exactly know what happened here, we can only imagine that the conversation went a little like this: “Hey, I bet you can’t make it over that jump!” “Oh, yeah? Wanna bet?” “Well, yeah, that’s what I just said.” Alas, this is the end result. On the upside, the car hasn’t fallen down into the ditch, and the people haven’t fallen to their deaths. There’s always a silver lining in these situations.
