As it turns out, John ended up bringing more than six tonnes of food to the people of Haiti. This was particularly important because immediately after the earthquake, the food rationing process was not going particularly smooth.

The food was what military men eat, perfectly portioned, and requiring no extra work. In addition to the huge amount of food John brought over, he also flew in with doctors who could help with the medical tragedies in Haiti. John truly wanted to do all that he could.
