Perhaps Travolta’s own tragedies were what inspires him to help others? Back in 2009, the worst happened to John and Kelly. Their oldest son, Jett, had grown up with autism and a series of medical afflictions, along with a history of seizures. Being an unwell child, his parents took great care of him at all times, but then something terrible happened.
While on vacation, the then 16-year-old Jett suffered a seizure and hit his head on the bathtub. He passed away from the injury, and it was the worst possible thing to happen to the Travolta family.
