We all adored the movie Swordfish back in 1991, and Travolta plays General Shear with perfection. Obviously. However, Travolta nearly wasn’t in the classic movie at all! The actor turned the movie down five times, after being constantly asked, before he finally accepted the role.
It’s thought the only agreed to being in the movie after finding out that Dominic Sena would be the director. Naturally, the movie was a success, and Travolta got to star alongside more acting greats – Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman.
