The RHOA has been slammed by the African-American community for depicting the “Angry Black Woman” stereotype on their show. The series made headlines in November 2014, during the infamous fight between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams that took place during the reunion episode. TheRoot.com called for the producers to “Take responsibility for the real-world impact of their manipulations and move beyond a reliance on one-dimensional, unfair, degrading depictions of African-Americans.”
