Chimps and humans are alike in more ways than just genetics. They usually have very complicated relationships with one another much like humans. They disagree with one another, make allies and gain support and try to challenge the leader of the group. Chimps live in hierarchical groups which means that there is one alpha male who dominates the group. The other chimps will often try to challenge the leader by making relationships with their fellow chimps.
