While obviously a Hollywood movie will never be able to fully bring to life what military personnel go through, they do paint a picture of what life is like in the line of duty.
For instance, the 2016 film Hacksaw Ridge shows a real example of bravery in a soldier who did everything in his power to fight for his country. While this movie is based on true events, it does have a Hollywood twist. That being said, soldiers do stuff like that every day when serving in the military.
