As we all remember oh so vividly, the world was on the verge of collapse in 1999 thanks to fears about the Millennium Bug; for their own various reasons, people thought the world was sure to end in the year 2000. But thankfully, Earth is still going strong – at least for now – and life sure went on for Thiessen, who continued starring in TV and movie roles time and time again.
She was cast in the horror From Dusk Till Dawn 2, showing that there was more to her than a teen drama actress and that she can, in fact, take on other types of characters. She still did, however, stick with familiar work too in the late ‘90s and featured in the romantic comedy Love Stinks and TV rom-com NewsRadio. Over the years, she diversified her roles and proved that she could portray all different types of characters.
