There are definitely a lot of puzzle pieces still missing when it comes to Toby’s past. In the first season, we got to meet his beautiful ex-wife, after Kate visits her at her boutique. Toby tells Kate how she was a horrible wife who cheated on him and hurt him numerous times. We also know from his parents that he had fallen into a horrible depression following the divorce. But will we get to see what Toby was like before he met Kate for ourselves? Will we ever get to learn about his childhood?
