In the last couple episodes, we got more information about Deja and her difficult past with her young mother Shauna. We know that her dad didn’t stick around for her birth, and has been out of the picture for her whole life. However, according to the show’s executive producer Elizabeth Berger, we might finally get to go deeper into Deja’s family background, in particular, see who her father is. She said, “Obviously, Deja has had almost no relationship with him, but she may know more about him than we previously let on.”
