In 1977, Suzanne Somers got her big break after multiple small film roles, playing Chrissy Snow in the sitcom, Three’s Company, which was aired on ABC. She gained major fame in the 80s, for all the wrong reasons, when she boycotted the show.
She asked for a pay rise of $120,000 per episode, and for 10 percent ownership of the show. When her request was understandably denied, she made life incredibly difficult for the producers, and her contract was terminated at the end of the season.

During the summer of 2005, Somers made her Broadway debut. The show included a variety of stories about her career and personal life. The one-woman show was named The Blonde in the Thunderbird, after her first role on-screen.
The show didn’t even last a week before being canceled due to poor ticket sales. She later started her own online talk show called, Suzanne Somers Breaking Through, in 2012, hosted The Suzanne Show in 2012, and appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2015.
