Kate Jackson is best known for her role from 1976 until 1979 as Sabrina Duncan in the hit series, Charlie’s Angels. She also earned much of her fame playing Amanda King in Scarecrow and Mrs. King from 1983 until 1987.
On top of this, she starred in the controversial film, Making Love, although this wasn’t the highlight of Jackson’s successful career, seeing as it performed pretty poorly at the box office upon its release in 1982. Her role as Sabrina Duncan, however, earned her a place on the cover of TIME magazine.

In 2007, Jackson played a part in Criminal Minds as Elizabeth Prentiss, the mother of the FBI Agent, Emily, and she judged an episode of reality show Shear Genius in 2008. Gallery Books signed a contract with Jackson to write a book of her memoirs, called The Smart One.
The book was originally to be released in October 2011. It was delayed until 2015, and again to December 2020. Jackson’s career has been incredible, being a favorite actress for many, but she is nowhere near as popular as she once was, unfortunately.
