From 1969 until 1974, Maureen McCormick played Marcia Brady on The Brady Bunch, which was a sitcom on the television channel, ABC. It was arguably the most famous role the McCormick has played, with it earning her enormous popularity and fans around the world.
She has also appeared in many of the spin-offs from the show, such as The Brady Kids and The Brady Brides. Illegal substance abuse, however, meant that she often struggled through her career, without it holding her back significantly.

In 2008, like many celebrities, McCormick became a spokesperson for Children International. She hoped to be able to make a difference for good causes, through the use of her fame and popularity.
Since her acting career, she has spent more time competing on celebrity shows, like Dancing with the Stars and Gone Country. She also took part in Australia’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Her only solo album, When You Get A Little Lonely, was re-released in 2008, but didn’t do as well as the star had hoped.
